With the Moving bed Bioreactor (MBBR) system consists of an activated sludge aeration system where the sludge is collected on recycled plastic carriers. These carriers have an internal large surface for optimal contact water, air and bacteria. The MBBR process can be used for a variety of different applications to attain the desired results, depending on the quality of the wastewater and the discharge regulations.
Industrial applicationsis highly advantageous technology spreading all over the world. The design has a basin which is multifunctional for treatment of BOD5 removal (permitting 98% removal), TSS, nitrification, de-nitrification and phosphorus elimination as well. It is capable of handling hydraulic and organic load variations. Considering its efficiency and its demand in market we provide the superior quality SBR to our clients Like extended aeration or other activated sludge process it involves the biological process, microorganisms and mechanical aeration system for aeration along with air distributors and diffusers. However the major difference in involved is in operation of treatment which is carried out in batches in cyclic manner. In SBR configuration all related processes of Aeration, Settling, Decanting are carried out in same basin and eventually this reduces construction cost which is very essential in larger systems. The most important component of SBR process is decanting system. The various type of decanters are used for process like Floating gravity type, rake arm type, floating funnel type and slotted pipe type decanters. The process is operated in batch manner and hence it is vary suitable for industrial wastewater and high flow domestic wastewater.
Treatment stagesThere are five stages in the treatment process:
The inlet valve opens and the tank is being filled in, while mixing is provided by mechanical means (no air). This stage is also called the anoxic stage. Aeration of the mixed liquor is performed during the second stage by the use of fixed or floating mechanical pumps or by transferring air into fine bubble diffusers fixed to the floor of the tank. No aeration or mixing is provided in the third stage and the settling of suspended solids starts. During the fourth stage the outlet valve opens and the "clean" supernatant liquor exits the tank
Membrane Bio Reactor (MBR) is a combination of two basic processes i.e. biological degradation and membrane separation in to a single process where suspended solids and microorganisms responsible for biodegradation are separated from the treated water by membrane filtration unit. Filtration based on UF or MF membranes is key for solid liquid seperation in MBR process.
The process involves biological , physical and chemical action of plants on the waste water. The plants supply oxygen from atmosphere through plants to root zone where particles of effluent / waste water get attracted towards the roots and are absorbed by roots as nutrients. Thus the process of aeration that is aerobic reaction takes along with anaerobic in a natural way. The processed water is later collected after passing through various baffles to the collection tank.
A rotating biological contactor is a type of secondary (Biological) treatment process. It consists of a series of closely spaced, parallel discs mounted on a rotating shaft which is supported just above the surface of the waste water. Microorganisms grow on the surface of the discs where biological degradation of the wastewater pollutants takes place.
